| It is compulsory for all customers to display acknowledgment of 'Infinity-Gamehosting' in their gameservers name. All gameservers discovered not possessing this mandatory requirement will be (temporarily) shut down automatically. It is compulsory for all customers to include the following text within their gamerserver MOTD (message of the day): 'Powered by Infinity-Gamehosting.NET'. Customers are not permitted to make changes to their gameserver configuration that Infinity-Gamehosting feels can result in disproportionate server load or cause severe damage. This includes increasing the tickrate or FPS rate that is configurable at some games. The installation of mods is exclusively allowed following approval from the Infinity-Gamehosting team. "Coop" gametypes or mods that require disproportionate system resources or can cause high server load levels are strictly prohibited. When renting a private gameserver, customers are required to keep the gameserver passworded at all times. Sharing passwords on public websites, forums, in the gameserver's name or within any other publicly accessible place is strictly prohibited. Infinity-Gamehosting reserves the right to (temporarily) shut down any gameserver where the password has been removed. Changes to both the IP number and / or port number assigned to each gameserver by Infinity-Gamehosting are strictly prohibited. Infinity-Gamehosting reserves the right to change IP and port numbers when it is necessary for logistical purposes. Use of Infinity-Gamehosting gameservers for commercial purposes is strictly forbidden. The FTP server belonging to each gameserver is for the sole purpose of managing files that are related to that gameserver alone (configuration files, maps, mods, etc). Use of the FTP for storage of any files not directly connected to the gameserver is prohibited. FTP access is limited to the account owner. It is strictly prohibited to give access passwords to any other party. All datatraffic caused by the gameserver is included in the agreement. However if a specific gameserver is seen to be using a significantly higher amount of datatraffic than others, Infinity-Gamehosting reserves the right to intervene (Fair Use Policy). |
